Designed in close cooperation with the deceased child’s parents. Sheets of wavy-textured “Waterglass” were sawed into individual pieces and inlaid like a puzzle into cement on a custom-made granite and concrete base. The texture of the glass flows in one direction throughout the entire piece. Special features: the date was sawed out in the handwriting of the stillborn child’s father and filled with grout. The stars at both long sides symbolize each family member.
