...is to love yourself
What you curse in life is really a blessing. The choice is yours to see the gift.
What you curse may hold the gift of revealing to you your inner strength.
What you curse may hold the gift of showing you how deeply you love another.
What you curse may hold the gift of demonstrating how much others love you.
What you curse may hold the gift of teaching you that you are worthy of joy.
"The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” — Rumi
Pain is a great teacher.
Pain comes from unmet expectations.
Pain comes from resisting love.
Pain comes from disconnecting from love.
Rather than hold onto anger, hurt, and pain — emotions that steal your energy and keep you from love — simply let go.
Listen to what the pain is teaching you. Find the gift in what you call a curse.
Surrender all the negative views you hold of the experience.
With surrender comes freedom. The heart longs to be free and true freedom comes with being open, vulnerable, and naked, all of which require great faith, trust, and inner strength.
With surrender comes detachment, which moves you into a deeper level of compassion and releases you from ego-expectations of how you think things should be.
With surrender comes learning to love yourself — both freely and unconditionally. It allows you to fill yourself up again. With love. There is then no need for another to fill you up because you are whole.
To live without fear is complete freedom.
To live in love is heaven on earth.
Love is a journey. Learning to love yourself and all that you create in your life is part of that journey.
“Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens." — Carlos Castaneda
