One of my all-time favorite books. The story explains how the Universe conspires to help you help yourself.
-
Sage advice on a wide range of topics such as love, friendship, beauty, time. Kind of like "Desiderata" but in book form.
-
The story of Al Humphrey's 4 year bicycle trip around the world. You can read the DreamQuest interview with Al on the "DreamQuest interviews" page. Signed copies are available via his website.

This was a book I couldn't put down and is a trek I intend to take myself.

Everything rests within us, it's just a matter of "letting go" and to look at what's right in front of our noses. Enlightenment is a realization, not an attainment. An interesting read on how to find the gate to your heart.

Written as a blend of fiction and fact, the story will no doubt inspire you!
-
A controversial book when it was first released because of its claims but nonetheless one of my all-time favorites. Follow the author on her own walkabout with aborigines and keep an open mind.

In the 90's I was diagnosed with some abnormal cell growth. Although it was nothing serious, I knew that I had created the lesson for myself and could even trace it back to a single thought months earlier. I went through physical "treatment" with a greater consciousness of what my thoughts created in my life. Then I read this book.
-
A book I read early on and one that I strongly recommend for those looking for direction in life.
-
The book that literally saved my life when I was 14. It got me to change my way of thinking. Keep only the parts that resonate with you and ignore the rest.
-
A powerful work of fiction told from the point of view of a gorilla looking at the human world. It might just open your eyes to a new perspective.
-
A work of fiction that explains Ayn Rand's philosophy of "objectivism". A mind-opening book, the theme is "the role of man's mind in society." First published in 1957 - this is my favorite of all her books.
-
The first esoteric book I ever read and one that put into words what I'd always felt but couldn't explain myself. An easy read and a good place to start if you're new to esoteric books.
-
A book that I have read countless times.
-
This book helped me to release the path of struggle and to begin on the path of joy. (Really!)
-
If you're beyond the "curious" stage and would like to meet and blend with your soul, this is the book for you.

Written by my dear friend and the officiating pastor at my wedding. This book is the story of Sandra's childhood and the people in her life. We learn great lessons from our families and through our relationships with others. Sandra has been a guiding spirit in my life. Signed copies are available via her website.

We are all healers. We all have the power to heal ourselves and others with the laying on of hands. This book dares share what many Reiki masters and practioners want to keep secret. The time of "secrets" is passed - it's now time to share...
