Brit will be showing some of her work during an event sponsored by the "024 Business Club", to be held in Nijmegen, Netherlands on 11 November.

Brit's work has been accepted for inclusion in Mosaic Yearbook 2008.

Brit has been commissioned to write an article for a US magazine on the mosaic art of Mo Ringey, whose work Brit dedicated a chapter to in her latest book Mosaic: Finding Your Own Voice. This project is both an honor and a joy!

PodCamp Hawaii - Honolulu Convention Center - October 24-25, 2008

Brit will be interviewed on WXOJ-LP 103.3 FM in Northampton, MA (USA) on September 17th. The Valley Free Radio show airs from 8 - 9 AM (local time). Tune in to hear what Brit has to say!

Mosaic: Finding Your Own Voice makes the best seller list from the first day of sale! 

A lovely 2 page article (in Dutch) has been published about Brit's work in the August 2008 issue of Glas in Beeld magazine. You can download the 2.4 MB file here.

Work has begun on Brit's fourth book, her auto-biography, titled Becoming My True Self. Brit will share her own inspiring story of how she found her calling in life and what she went through to "arrive". This book is expected to be published in 2009.

Brit is working on starting up a new venture that will help get fellow Rotterdammers off the dole by creating art for public spaces.

Brit's third book, Mosaic: Finding Your Own Voice, is finished and available! The book's goal is to both inspire and help readers to find and develop their own styles. See the Books page to learn more. The book is print on demand and is available in both hardback and paperback.



As of 1 July 2008 Brit offers artist development coaching.

Brit sponsored the 1st edition of the Regional Business Show held near Rotterdam on 19 June 2008.

In 2007 Brit was asked by MaoMao Publishing to allow four works to be included in Fashion Source: Cutting Edge Patterns and Textures. This was special to Brit since she worked as both a fashion and textile designer before turning to glass. The book (ISBN 9-789812-454430) is available in bookstores and online via Amazon.




Brit inspires viewers around the world through her 60 Seconds to a Better Life vidcast. This series ties in with her book Meditations: Messages from the Other Side and her DreamQuest interview series through which inspiring people share their stories.

In May Brit completed a large diptych titled The Fine Line. More about the design can be found in her blog or in the 60 Seconds to a Better Life episode on Duality. Photos can be found in Brit's portfolio.




To raise the self-worth and self-confidence of a group of teens at a secondary school in a "disadvantaged" area of Rotterdam, Brit spearheaded and co-sponsored a project with the message "create something beautiful out of your life". The teens created 4 artworks for their school. Tales therefrom and a video highlighting the project can be found in Brit's blog under "Building Dreams".

Brit spoke to a local business club on 26 February about her work and her philosophy of networking to create a win-win situation.
