Brit Hammer

Photographing Fine Art & Craft

Are you ready to be noticed? Learn how to take photos that make people say WOW!

"Finally. FINALLY. Thank you for bringing this class to artists. Quick folks, grab it!"

"Brit, I knew the moment we 'met' on skype...you GOT it! YOU have so much to give. And you are proving what an inspirational teacher you are! I am so proud of my students who took the Photographing Fine Art & Craft Guided Study class. The websites they built in my {DIY} Artist Websites class are so much stronger now — and so much more effective — because of the luscious pictures they learned how to take in your class."

"Every artist deserves to have a great presentation, and I wholeheartedly recommend that every artist take your class!"

— Susan Lomuto, Daily Art Muse

What students are saying about the Guided Study eCourse

"I'm loving Brit's class, if you are on the fence, jump off and sign up!!! The best part of her class is her honest critique — not someone just saying "cool". She really takes the time and thinks about it and tells you what she sees and feels!!! Thank you, Brit!" — Bronwen Heilman, flamework glass artist / jeweler

"This is a GREAT class — if you are at all fearful of your camera, Brit really takes you through all that you need to know and learn to make your artwork look really, really good! I highly recommend it! This is a fabulous and supportive class that becomes a life-force in your creative life!" — Alix Morrison Railton, jeweler

"In this class Brit teaches all of the basic photography skills such as focus, lighting, composition, and post-processing, but the real heart of this class is learning to shoot from the heart. She taught me how to see my art more objectively and more lovingly. For the most part, photographs are the first and often only way that the world will see your work. Each and every photo should depict the artist’s passion and professionalism. Brit can show you how this is done." — Beth Gibson Saxena, mosaic and mixed-media artist

GUIDED STUDY ECOURSE

The day this 4-week eCourse begins you'll be given access to the Photographing Fine Art & Craft group on Facebook where you will post your homework assignments for feedback and ask questions. I visit the group twice a day Monday through Friday so your questions are answered in a timely manner.

Each Monday you’ll receive an email reminding you to read/watch that week's material. You'll also be given an assignment due the following Monday. Of course, if you just want to follow the class and not post homework, that's also okay.

What makes the Guided Study class worth the money to students is the community and support. The course fee is a lifetime membership to a private group where your learning continues long after the class is over. Inspiration is posted each week to keep you growing and you'll learn from feedback given to all other students (past, present, future). Most importantly, you'll find that friendships form within the group.

You'll also receive all future course updates, if you want them. Beyond that, it's also possible to continue to get feedback on your images after the class is over for just $10/image - the feedback is detailed and personalized to help you get where you want to go. And if you want to retake the class for any reason, you're entitled to a 15% discount. You'll also get a reduced rate on your first mentoring session with me when you upgrade to include mentorship (see below).

GUIDED STUDY ECOURSE + MENTORSHIP

This package is the Guided Study version of the course with an EXTRA 45-minute one-on-one mentorship session with me, a celebrated artist, author, and international award-winning photographer.

You can schedule your session at any time during the eCourse to talk about any topic, photography or otherwise. We'll talk by phone or Skype and you can record our conversation. To get the most out of your private session, I suggest you wait until you're at least halfway through the eCourse.

No, a professional photographer did not take these AMAZING images. A professional ARTIST did!

Denise Parenteau chose the Guided Study + Mentorship package and took this series of AMAZING photos after her private session with me in Week 3.
