February 2009 (USA) - Brit was thrilled to read Jean Ann Dabb's review of Mosaic: Finding Your Own Voice, published in the Winter 2009 issue of Groutline. This magazine is published quarterly for members of the Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA).

Jean Ann is Associate Professor of Art History at the University of Mary Washington (USA), a former member of the SAMA Board of Directors, and in 2008 curated one of the largest exhibitions on contemporary fine art mosaic.

October 2008 (USA) - Brit's work has been included in Mosaic Yearbook, an annual survey of contemporary mosaic art by Bill Buckingham and Lynn Moor.

The 2008 edition of this digital magazine will no-doubt become a collector's item. Mosaic Yearbook is available only on CD-ROM (2-disks).

17 September 2008 (USA) - Brit was interviewed on the Mo Show on WXOJ-LP 103.3 FM in Northampton, MA (USA). During the Valley Free Radio interview Mo and Brit chatted about Brit's book Mosaic: Finding Your Own Voice, print on demand, and life in Rotterdam.

August 2008 (Netherlands) - An entire spread has been given to Brit's work in the Autumn issue of Glas in Beeld, a glass magazine for architects and the building trade.

The article goes into Brit's architectural glass design for an airport, custom-designed glass furniture she designed and had made for a client, and (of course) about Brit's fine art glass mosaics and the glass she uses.

May 2008 (Spain) - In 2007 Brit was asked by Estel Vilaseca at MaoMao Publishing to allow four works to be included in Fashion Source: Cutting Edge Patterns and Textures.

This was extra special to Brit since she worked as both a fashion and textile designer before she became a fine art glass mosaic artist - how cool to see things come full circle!

Summer 2007 (Netherlands) - The Dutch Heart Association thanked Brit in their quarterly Hartslag magazine for the funds she raised for them.

Each year Brit gives back to the community by working with a worthy cause. For the Dutch Heart Association she held a fundraising exhibition called "Closer to the Heart". One-third of the proceeds were donated.
